At the talks, Prime Minister Dung urged both countries to increase information exchanges, accelerate the implementation of signed agreements, and improve the legal framework for bilateral co-operation.
President Maduro expressed his hope that Vietnam will become a major exporter to Venezuela, exporting garments and textiles, footwear, phones and spare parts, electronic devices, food and foodstuffs.
The two leaders agree to set the next target for two-way trade turnover to 1 billion USD by implementing the newly-signed bilateral trade agreement.
