Lieutenant General Vo Trong Viet lead the Vietnamese delegation, while General Meas Sophea lead the Cambodian delegation. In the spirit of mutual understanding, the two armed forces discussed the effectiveness of previous collaborations and the future direction of military cooperation.
With regards to recent disturbances along the border, both armed forces have effectively neutralised the situation and maintained stability. This was all done in a peaceful manner. In recent times, the 2 militaries have successfully joined forces to deal with cross-border crime and respect for national sovereignty.
