The information was confirmed yesterday by President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA), Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh.
Accordingly, a national “For Agent Orange Victims” congress attended by 300 delegates will be organised on July 12-13. Also an international conference to assess the effects of Agent Orange used by the US army during the war in Vietnam will be held on August 8-9. Notably, a meeting to mark the event will be held on August 10, which is expected to draw about 1,000 people and will be broadcast live.
This is a chance for the community at home and abroad to help ease the difficulties of victims and voice support for their struggle for justice.
