USD 516 mil highway to be put into operation

The build-operate-transfer project began in July 2015 and spans nearly 170 km long. It is 25 metres wide with four lanes and a speed limit of 100km/h. The Bac Giang-Lang Son Highway runs in parallel with National Highway 1. The new highway will help reduce travel time from the capital city of Hanoi to Lang Son province to 2 hours instead of 3 hours.
