According to statistics, exports in July reached 14.7 billion USD, while imports reached 14.6 billion USD. This provided a trade surplus of 100 million USD in July.
From the beginning of the year, total export turnover of the country reached US $193 billion; exports were estimated at 96.8 billion USD, while imports reached US $95 billion. The trade surplus in the first 7 months between Vietnam and the US reached 1.8 billion USD.
Vietnam continues to export mainly to the US, followed by the EU and China and imports goods mainly from China, South Korea, ASEAN and Japan.
