VTV.vn - According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced it will be ending its investigation of alleged dumping by Vietnamese polyester fibre exporters.

The original lawsuit saw Vietnam, China, India, South Korea, and Taiwan (China) as defendants. However, the plaintiffs, including DAK Americas, Nanya Plastics and Augira Polymers, have decided to no longer press charges on Vietnam and has dismissed its case with the country. Investigations are still on going for the four other countries involved in the case. Last year, Vietnam exported about 12.4 mil USD of polyester fibre to the US.
