Updates on aircraft search efforts

Yesterday morning, Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, the Deputy Minister of Defence, visited the search units and directed more rescue work in an area of nearly 200 square miles.

The Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard, and Military Region 3 continue to search for the two aircrafts. The rescue team is also searching Hòn Mắt island in Nghe An province.

The administrations of the coastal provinces from Quang Ninh to Ninh Binh have also notified local fishermen to pay attention to the waters where they are fishing.
