Citing anonymous sources, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday that the tariff level will likely be set at about 10 percent.
The upcoming tariffs will be on a list of items which include internet technology products and other electronics, printed circuit boards and consumer goods such as Chinese seafood, chemicals, plastics, bicycles and furniture.
The White House declined comment on the timing of a possible announcement, but said U. S President Trump will continue to take action to address China's unfair trade practices.
