China will send a delegation to the US for talks, led by Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen. The Chinese delegation will meet with David Malpass, under secretary for international affairs at the US Treasury Department.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said, the country welcomed the resumption of dialogues, but will not accept any unilateral trade restrictions. Meanwhile, White House senior economic adviser Larry Kudlow expressed optimism in the upcoming negotiations.
The global stock market has gained points after news of resumed trade talks.
