School Is Fun - Kids Make Movies, why not?

School Is Fun - Kids Make Movies is a new 6-episode series produced by VTV's Educational and Scientific Programs Department. The program will bring viewers interesting stories about the Kids Make Movies project for children aged 10-17. This project is part of the activities of the Southeast Asian Children's Television Festival, hosted by VTV, which brings together professional producers and filmmakers with children to create creative video products on the theme "Colors of Friendship".

One month into  its launch, the Kids Make Movies project has received enthusiastic participation from students across various provinces. At the end of the preliminary round, the organizers selected 30 qualified participants and divided them into 6 groups of different ages. This is also an important foundation for the production team to organize workshops to guide the children in filmmaking, with the participation of experts from the Philippines.

At the workshop, the children were guided by experts on how to make films to express their desired ideas. Through lively and engaging discussions, the children gained valuable experiences in video production, content creation, and increased   interaction, which boosted their confidence in real-world production.

Through hands-on lessons, the Kids Make Movies project provides children with the knowledge and skills to master modern technology and create colorful stories about their childhood world. According to the organizers, the 10 best works from this project will be sent to the Southeast Asian Children's Television Festival in Malaysia in November.

The program consists of 6 episodes, airing at 8:00 PM every Friday on VTV2, starting from June 7th.
