Two new street names in Hanoi

VTV.vn - Two road sections in Hanoi's Cầu Giấy District were officially named after the first two kings of the Mạc Dynasty following a decision signed by the chairman of the city's people's committee.

The two kings ruled Vietnam between 1527 and 1533 and the northern part of the country from 1533 until 1592.

A 900-metre section from Phạm Hùng Street till the intersection with Trung Kính Street will be named after Mạc Thái Tổ while another 840-metre-long section from Phạm Hùng Street to Vũ Phạm Hàm Street will be named after Mạc Thái Tông. The city will have also has 17 other new street names after landmarks, historical relics and famous people.
