TV series of foreign adaptation are accepted to compete at 38th National Television Festival

This is one of the new features of the National Television Festival announced by the organizers.

Accordingly, in the TV series category, each unit is allowed to submit a single episode TV series, 2 short TV series and one multi-episode TV series. The duration of the contested TV series is stipulated as follows:

- Single episode TV series: not exceeding 105 minutes.

- Short series: each from 2 to 5 episodes, 45 minutes.

- Multi-episode TV series: each from 6 to 60 episodes, 45 minutes.

From this festival on, TV series with foreign adaptation or adapted from foreign literature will be allowed to compete.

38th National Television Festival will be hosted by Lam Dong Radio and Television. The festival takes place from 19 to 22 December, 2018.

At this year's festival, TV makers will compete in 9 categories: children's program, documentaries, reportage, science and education programs, talks, television programs targeting the ethnic minorities, music and dance program, theater program and TV series.
