The victim was transported by helicopter to shore in a condition. Earlier, the VMRCC received information from the owner of the fishing vessel BV5436TS stating that Nguyễn Cường, who was born in 1995 in Bình Thuận Province, was hurt at sea 170 nauticle miles to the southeast. VMRCC quickly located the man and brought him to shore for immediate medical aid.
