VTV.vn - As the Lunar New Year draws near, traffic gridlock is a regular occurrence on the streets that lead out of Tan Son Nhat Airport and Cat Lai port in Ho Chi Minh City.

In light of this situation, the city's authorities have formed 2 special working groups to resolve traffic congestion at these two hot-spots.

These teams consist of traffic police and local authorities working around the clock to tackle congestion hotspots in Cat Lai port and Tan Son Nhat International Airport during the holiday.

Currently the Department of Transport has identified and analysed congestion causes. Accordingly, they will adjust traffic light systems to help vehicles navigate, enhance street camera systems and connect with vehicles' GPS so people can choose the best routes for their commute.
