According to statistics provided by the General Administration of Vietnam Tourism, the number of tourists of all nationalities has increased. Among these, Chinese tourists have picked up the most, with a 70% increase in number.
Next are Russian and Laotian tourists. Vietnam's tourism sector has set a target of welcoming 11.5 million international visitors in 2017, which could be an increase of 1.5 million visitors year on year.
