Tokyo-Vietnam Medical University receives establishment license

The university is located in Ecopark, an urban township development in the northern Vietnamese province of Hung Yen. Japan’s Waseda Health Sciences Education Corporation and a number of Japanese individuals and organizations will invest in the school. Initial investment is estimated at 20 million USD.

The university will run four-year and three-year degree programs in rehabilitation nursing, physical therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, and medical testing. Admissions will start next June and classes next September.

This is the second project to receive an investment and construction certificate in the Ecopark development, after British University Vietnam.
