Tightening scrap imports

New conditions regarding the types of scraps that can be imported and of enterprises eligible to import scraps have been closely supervised by the Government. According to new regulations, imported scraps need to meet requirements set by the Law on Environmental Protection. Imported scraps at ports can only be received if enterprises, organisations, or individuals have an environmental protection certificate. They will need another certificate that ensures compatibility with Decree No.40.
