Thua Thien Hue Province recently issued a decision to distribute the fuel on a wider-scale, making it one of the few localities that will possibly finish the plan ahead of the government’s roadmap.
Thua Thien Hue’s authorities and Petro Vietnam recently signed a co-operation deal to distribute E5 RON 92 in the area. Under the deal, all filling stations in the province will sell the fuel. The locality aims to replace the commonly used RON 92 petrol by the E5 RON 92.
We have made sure that all the stations in the locality have the technology and maintenance service to provide E5 to customers.
Few customers currently use bio-fuel but there has been positive feedback on the product.
To gradually introduce the E5 to the public, Petro Vietnam has focused on building the distribution networks. In 2010, there were only 30 stations offering the fuel. 5 years later, 330 stations sell the petrol. E5 RON 92 is highly valued by the manufacturers who believe it’s quality is perfectly acceptable.
E5 RON 92 is more knock-resistant than normal RON 92. It can also more effectively clean up the engine and releases fewer emissions into the environment.
The adoption of RON E5 is expected to diversify the country’s fuel resources and promote a green production economy. The successful distribution of E5 RON 92 in the Thua Thien Hue Province will contribute to the completion of the government’s biofuel plan.
