Despite having been to Singapore several times before, this is the first time for Pharrell Williams as a solo artist. After the F1 racing finished, Pharrell hit the stage at 11pm on 18th September, gathering over 3000 audiences. Beginning with the latest hit – Freedom - the “Happy” star agitated the crowd just in a few seconds.
“This is the first time doing the song here. Singapore, are you with me?” – Pharrell made some noise.

Casual dressed, simple stage but rich enthusiasm was enough for Pharrell to satisfy his fans. Followed by some songs from his newest album GIRL were the serial of “old but gold” hits that enlightened his career such as Frontin’, She Wants To Move, Change Clothes, Drop It Like It’s Hot, etc. Closing the night by his Oscar nomination “HAPPY”, Pharrell put the whole stadium on fire with lively sound, monumental light systems, devoted dancers and energetic audiences.

For the second time performing at the Singapore Formula 1, Maroon 5 still kept fans jumped on their feet. At 11:15pm, the stadium was resounded by Animals and Maroon 5’s front-man Adam Levine stepped out. The band heated up the crowd with numerous hits from She Will Be Loved, This Love, Wake Up Call to Payphone, One More Night, Moves Like Jagger, etc
The band faked a goodbye to the audience then came back for an encore Sugar. After nearly 2 hours of performing, Maroon 5 closed the night. Padang stadium was filled with music, joy and enthusiasm.

Singapore Formula 1 Racing took place on September annually in Marina Bay Circuit with multiple musical guests. This year, the show was scheduled on 20th September.
