Forty three projects of the Ministry of Transport will be inspected. Leaders of ministries, sectors and localities should promote responsibility and efficiency when it comes to the disbursement of public investment capital. Those who fail to fulfill their duties will be circulated or moved to other positions. This was what Deputy Prime Minister Vương Đình Huệ said at the morning session which focused on the disbursement of public investment of three ministries namely the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The total public investment of these three ministries from 2016-2020 account for over 25% of the total public investment. However, the progress of the disbursement of these three ministries is lower than the national average.
Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue also asked leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment about the allocation of funds for green growth and climate change. He asked the Ministry of Justice to urge the relevant agencies to evaluate the amendments that will be submitted to the government in July.
