The first contestant to take on the Individual Warm-up round was Duc Dung, who scored 50 points. Meanwhile, Nguyen Phuong excelled with a perfect score of 60 points, Dang Truong scored 40 points, and Khanh Cuong picked up 10 points.
The 12 questions in the General Warm-up round ramped up the competition's intensity as the contestants kept ringing the bell to answer. However, Nguyen Phuong remained the standout performer, temporarily taking the lead with 75 points. The scores of the other three contestants were: Duc Dung with 55 points, Dang Truong with 60 points, and Khanh Cuong with 30 points.
The keyword for today's Overcome Obstacle round is a 3-letter word. None of the contestants gave the correct answer. Moving on to the next horizontal clue, the question still seemed challenging as no one scored any points. By the third question, all the contestants got it right.
At this moment, all four contestants rang the bell to answer. Khanh Cuong was the fastest to ring the bell and answer: "Máu" (blood), while the other three contestants answered "Pin" (battery). Duc Hung was the one who scored with the correct and fastest answer.
The Speed-up round is highly contested, offering contestants the chance to quickly level the scores or take the lead with the highest points. A difference of just one second can change the outcome.
In the first question, all four contestants gave the correct answer, but Khanh Cuong was the fastest and scored 40 points. In the third question on geometry, the contestants have different answers, but Duc Dung was the only one to get it right. At the end of the round, Duc Dung led with 225 points, followed by Khanh Cuong with 150 points, Nguyen Phuong with 125 points, and Dang Truong with 110 points.
In the Finish round, Duc Dung chose a set of three 20-point questions. With calmness and confidence, he easily secured points on the first question. However, Khanh Cuong gained 20 points from Duc Dung's incorrect answer to the second question. In the last question, Dung regained his composure and scored another 20 points.
Khanh Cuong, who then had the second highest score, also chose a set of three 20-point questions. Quickly and decisively, the Hai Duong native answered the first two questions correctly, showing composure, calmness and determination. However, he struggled with the English question, and Nguyen Phuong was able to gain the points.
Nguyen Phuong chose a set of 20-30-20 point questions. After correctly answering the first two questions, he selected the Hope Star for the final 20-point question. Unfortunately, he answered this difficult question incorrectly and had points deducted. Phuong's score at this point was 155 points.
The last contestant was Dang Truong, who chose a set of three 30-point questions. After failing to answer the first question, he carefully secured 30 points for the second question. He chose the Hope Star for the final question but failed to give the correct answer.
Thus, Duc Dung won the laurel wreath with 245 points. The scores of the other contestants were: 140 points for Nguyen Phuong, 110 points for Dang Truong, and 175 points for Khanh Cuong.
