Ahead of National Day on September 2, this week’s episode of “The Little Miracles” presents familiar stories about love for one’s homeland, solidarity and the shared responsibility of each person in building a better Vietnam. Instead of lecturing on grand ideals, the programme asks what small actions each of us can take every every day to make a difference.
The week opens with “Vietnam Begins with Us”, reminding viewers that we can prove our love for the country by how we treat strangers, care for shared spaces, show compassion, support one another and work toward positive values.
Next, “If You Love Your Country, Don’t Hate One Another” explores how people with different views, generations and choices can live together. A strong country needs not only talented individuals but also a community that knows how to respect, listen to and coexist with others.
On September 1, “What Is Homeland?” brings the concept of homeland closer to everyday life, from one’s home and familiar streets to the people we love. Meanwhile, the September 2 episode, themed “Happy New Age, Vietnam!”, expresses confidence in today’s generation - who will continue writing another page of Vietnam’s story through concrete actions.
The September 3 episode, “Patriotism Proven in the Smallest Things”, continues to explore simple expressions of love for the country, such as protecting the environment, respecting others, doing one’s job well and preserving cultural values.
The week closes with “Passing Patriotism from One Generation to the Next,” which asks how love for the homeland is handed down through generations, from family stories to the ways young people carry Vietnamese values forward and bring them closer to the world.
Through gentle and relatable storytelling, “The Little Miracles” delivers a simple message: patriotism does not always require grand gestures. Sometimes it comes down to how each of us lives and acts every day.
“The Little Miracles” airs at 9:05 p.m. from August 31 to September 4, 2026, on VTV3 and VTVgo.
