The Mother - a documentary that aired in February on VTV1 - has been chosen to be screened at the World Public Television Conference (INPUT Potsdam 2020) scheduled for May 4, 2020 in Germany. The documentary overcomes hundreds of global nominations to reach the list of 80 final documentaries to be shown at the event.

The Documentary the Mothers is made by Vietnam Television Center in Da Nang (VTV8). The film tells the story of Nguyen Thi Dep - a mother seeking her daughter lost more than 40 years ago during the babylift campaign in the last days of April 1975. After more than 40 years of persistence, in the end, Dep found her daughter Leigh Mai.
