The National Television Festival is an annual event hosted by Vietnam Television. This is an opportunity for TV workers nationwide to meet and exchange experiences to improve their professional skills as well as to choose the best TV shows of the year.
This year, the 39 th TV Festival wil be co-hosted by Radio and Television Station of Khanh Hoa province. The festival will last 4 days, from December 11 to December 14, 2019.
At the 39th TV Festival, the Organizing Board will mark and rank the entries according to 9 categories: Children's Program, Documentary, Reportage, Thematic Scientific and Educational Programs, Talkshows, Ethnic minority languages Programs, Music and Dance Program, Theater Programs and TV series.
In the framework of the 39th TV Fest, 2 seminars will be held under the titles "News production on the internet environment (international workshop)" and "Investigative Report on television". Along with that, a photo exhibition on the operation of the national television industry will be held.
In this year TV Fest, there will be no area to screen the TV works and those interested in watching them could access the event webpage http://lhthtq.vtv.vn . This is also considered the change in organization compared to previous editions of the festival.
Along with the information page, news and images of the Festival will be regularly updated on the Festival pages on Facebook and Zalo. Through these pages, comments and feedback of the audience will be forwarded to the Organizing Board.
Regarding the prizes structure, the number of winning works in each category is calculated on the total number of entries according to the rate of 5% for Gold Prizes, 10% Silver Prizes, 25% Certificate of Merit. The rates may change according to the Festival President’s decision. Particularly, the category of TV series will have a maximum of 2 Gold Prizes, 4 Silver Prizes, 06 Certificates of merit (no individual award). There may be a Special Gold Prize for outstanding works.
