Thai boys rescued from cave say “thank you”

VTV.vn - Twelve Thai boys and their football coach rescued from a flooded cave in Thailand sent messages of thanks to their rescuers, in a video released to the media.

The last of the 12-member "Wild Boars" football team and their coach were brought out of the Tham Luang cave, near the border with Myanmar, on Tuesday (July 10) night, safely ending a perilous rescue and evoking international relief and joy.

The boys and their coach have been in hospital since then. In the video, they appeared well, sitting up in bed, and listing the dishes they would like to have. Thailand's Public Health Minister Dr Sakol-sattaya-torn, who led the news conference at Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital, said all 13 were expected to be discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
