In his opening remark, Prof., Dr. Thang, who is also Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, stressed that over recent years, the academy has attached great attention to renovating and raising the quality of its operation, deserving as a national training centre for leaders and managers of the Party, State organisations and political – social associations.
The academy has established itself as a national training centre on researching and popularising Marxism- Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and the Party’s guidelines, he stated.
He said that the symposium aimed to provide an opportunity for HCMA officers and lecturers to discuss the academy’s contributions to national construction and defence, while working out ways to realise its development strategy by 2025 with a vision towards 2045.
Nearly 40 speeches presented by participating scholars and researchers at the event highlighted the achievements of the HCMA over the past seven decades, and suggested key solutions to improve the academy’s operation and promote its contributions to national construction and development.
