During talks with Swiss President Johann Schneider Ammann, the vice president stressed the importance of ratcheting up bilateral co-operation between the two countries. She pledged that Vietnam would create optimal conditions for Swiss businesses to set up their stable and long-term operation in the country.
President Schneider Ammann stressed that Switzerland wished to soon conclude negotiations and signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association of which Switzerland is a member, together with Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
