Sweden co-operates in water management

In order to help Vietnam tackle with challenges in water management, the Department of Water Resources Management, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment have worked with the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi on a national Smart Water Innovation contest. The competition was officially launched on January 18.

Innovative, commercially viable and creative are the main criteria of the contest. Aside from this contest, Sweden is co-operating with Danang in waste water treatment and are building a water treatment plant in Ho Chi Minh City.
