Support network for migrant workers established

VTV.vn - It is estimated that the number of migrant workers from rural to urban areas will reach 5 million by 2019. A support network for migrant workers has been established by 6 non-governmental organizations in Vietnam to help these workers.

Most migrant workers have low and unsteady incomes. They can do only simple jobs in non-official economic sectors, with no labor contract or health-, social-, and unemployment insurance. Therefore, a support network for migrant workers has been established to provide these workers with equal access to the social security system./.
