Shortly after its launch, the fund awarded 66 thousand USD, to students in Nha Trang University. This is a program co-founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Nha Trang University, and the Vietnam Food Joint Stock Company. Vietnam has a lot of research on shrimp by-products, but insufficient practical application and production due to lacking equipment and funding, so this fund can improve the future promotion of this sector.
