VTV.vn - Storm Sari-ka, the seventh storm in Vietnam this year, weakened into a tropical depression on Wednesday afternoon in the mainland of China. Meanwhile, new typhoon Haima is moving rapidly across the East Sea.

As forecast,  areas to the north of the Gulf of Tonkin will experience strong wind as Sari-ka’s aftermath. Waves have topped 1 meter 50 to 2 meters 50 in height. Vietnam’s northeast is forecasted to experience moderate to heavy rain. Warnings of flash floods and landslides have been issued in mountainous areas of Quang Ninh, Lang Son and Cao Bang.
