Instead, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is considered the reviving treatment. The last two decades have witnessed significant achievements in the application of stem cell transplant technology in Vietnam. However, the number of leukaemia patients receiving stem cell transplants in Vietnam is still limited. Costs are much lower than the global average but are still high compared to the majority of patients. Another important cause is the lack of suitable stem cells.
