Just as life seemed to ease slightly when Trang found a simple office job, hardship struck again when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The long months of treatment caused her to withdraw further and gradually lose faith in herself and in life.
A turning point came when Trang accidentally joined activities at a club for people with disabilities and learned about the project “I Am Capable”. There, she learned to make handcrafted leather products, small items that opened a much larger door by helping her recognize her own value.
