In recent years, information and training courses have been distributed to the public to help people improve their knowledge and capabilities in fire prevention. However, the average number of fire cases each year remains high, with over 2300 fire cases in 2014 alone. In the future, the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department, under the Ministry of Public Security, will propose a plan to establish communal education centers in some localities in order to better reach people with fire prevention training.
