He hailed the role of the council in promoting bilateral economic ties, and stated that Vietnam seeks the expansion of bilateral trade. He called on the council to improve coordination with its Vietnamese partners to improve the framework for trade partnership, boosting each country's strength and demands.
He urged the council to work with Vietnam to participate deeper in the global supply chain in areas of mutual strength, such as garment-textile, footwear and agriculture. He also suggested that the Bangladesh-Vietnam Council for Commerce and Industries should work with airlines and consider starting direct flights between the two nations.
