At the event, State President Trần Đại Quang requested the association's members to increase their effectiveness in overcoming difficulties, investing in production and services, and developing economic models. All veteran businessmen should also apply technology in production to be more competitive in the domestic and foreign markets.
The State leader also reiterated the need to ensure environment protection and national defence during the economic development process. On the occasion, he presented Hero of Labour medals to the association and its chairman.
