The SCIC says that they select representatives of firms with a profit per capital rate above 20%, citing Vinamilk and Binh Minh Plastic as examples. In the past year, SCIC successfully sold state capital to 73 enterprises, resulting in 704 million US dollars, 5.2 times higher than capital cost. However, several representatives did not cooperate effectively with stock companies and SCIC in processing state capital selling procedures, and have not provided enough information which slowed the selling process. New regulations on SCIC's operations will be issued at the end of the year for better task responsiveness from representatives.
