This was an announcement made at the seminar "Standardization promotes global integration" organized by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality under the Ministry of Science and Technology, on the 11th of October in Hanoi. The event was held ahead of World Standard Day, which is on 14th October.
International standards will bring about many technological, economic and social benefits to Vietnam. The development of standards that coincide with international standards will be key to Vietnam's successful international integration.
