Stan Lee dead at 95

VTV.vn - According to TMZ, Stan Lee, co-creator of Marvel Comics, has died at the age of 95.

Stan's daughter, J. C., told that an ambulance rushed to Lee's Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. That was where he passed away.

Stan Lee had reportedly suffered from multiple illnesses over the past year, including pneumonia and vision problems. After his wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017, he was survived by his daughter, J.C.

Stan Lee was an American comic-book writer, editor, and publisher. He was editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, and later its publisher and chairman, leading its expansion from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation. He started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with The Fantastic Four. He went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers.

Stan Lee made cameo appearances in most of the Marvel movies.
