South Koreans firms favour Vietnam

Total registered investment from South Korea into Vietnam reached 49 billion US dollars as of June this year. Vietnam owes this success to its favourable conditions for investors, cheap labour and stable political situation, as well as geographical and cultural advantages.

4,000 South Korean firms currently invest in Vietnam in a variety of fields such as processing, engineering, financial services, entertainment and retail. And this investment is expected to rise. According to the Korean International Trade Association, most enterprises in South Korea plan to expand their business in foreign markets, including Vietnam.
