South Korean FTA promotes trade
VTV.vn - The South Korea - Vietnam Free trade agreement took effect on 20th of DECEMBER last year. The FTA has promoted bilateral trade between the two countries, according to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
In the first 11 months of this year, total bilateral trade revenue exceeded 39 billion USD, an on-year increase of 16%. More than 11,000 Vietnamese tariff lines and 8,500 South Korean lines will be eliminated. The FTA is expected to help the two countries realise the goal of 70 billion USD in bilateral trade by 2020.
