The tribal village depicted in the movie has been restored. Around 40 rattan tents have been set up together with long wooden boats.
According to the Tràng An Landscape Management Board, as the US studio was not charged for filming here, the local authority was permitted to restore and turn the site into a tourism spot a certain period of time after the film's release.
