In Phu Quoc City, service establishments, restaurants, accommodation facilities, food and beverage establishments, cafeterias, relic sites, tourist attractions, and entertainment areas such as the VinWonders, Grandworld, and Safari Phu Quoc complexes are allowed to resume operation.
Phu Quoc is speeding up its vaccination programme, striving to fully vaccinate all residents aged 18 years and above by October 4.
Tourist activities and scenic spots in Ha Tien City are also permitted to re-open for visitors who have received their full two shots of vaccines against COVID-19 and have certificates of negative results from COVID-19 testing conducted within the prior 72 hours.
Meanwhile, sporting events, art performances, tourist services and entertainment activities in Rach Gia City remain closed. Massage service, spas, discos, bars, karaoke parlours, cinemas and restaurants are not permitted to resume operation.
The city’s authorities have still banned the gatherings of more than ten people in public places and outside offices, schools and hospitals, while people must strictly observe the Ministry of Health’s 5K rules – “Khau trang” (face masks), “Khu khuan” (disinfection), “Khoang cach” (distancing), “Khong tu tap” (no gatherings), and “Khai bao y te” (health declarations).
