According to the Vietnam Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center, under the Institute of Geophysics, this is the sixth tremor recorded this month in A Luoi and neighboring Huong Tra District. These two districts have experienced 16 tremors in total, as of May 2014. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has ordered the Ministry of Science and Technology to work with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and relevant authorities to evaluate the situation.
