Seoul photo exhibition on East Sea dispute
VTV.vn - A photo exhibition on the East Sea was held in the Republic of Korea’s capital of Seoul lasy Sunday as part of the second Vietnam Culture Day in the country.

The display highlights Vietnam’s marine sovereignty and China’s illegal activities in the East Sea. The photo exhibition organisers believe the event will help to call for an end to the illegal land reclamation and urge countries to take responsibility for maintaining peace, stability and maritime safety, and protecting the maritime ecological system.

On this occasion, Han Seok-hyeon, a lawyer from the Seoul Southern District Court, presented his collection of documents in Korean, which point out legal foundations affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Spratly and Paracel archipelagos, and call on China to observe international laws.

This photo exhibition, organised by the Vietnam-Korea Multi-cultural Families Association and the Vietnam Culture Centre in South Korea is the seventh held so far.
