Despite difficulties in funding and human resources, the Association made positive contributions to the development of female knowledge. In the past 5 years, the association grew from 350 members to 2,700 members across the country. The association also established a Research Centre to promote women in science, and became an official member of the Asia Pacific women scientists’ network.
In the next 5 years, the Association will discover, nurture and support female talent, strengthen connections between female scientists and businesses, and advocate for the intellectual rights of women in social and economic policy.
