The event serves as an open, scholarly forum for research exchanges and discussions while proposing solutions to East Sea-based disputes. Scores of Vietnamese experts and international scholars from China, India, Japan, and the Philippines are in attendance. The workshop is being held by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University and Konrad Andenauer Stiftung (KAS). The event consists of 6 sessions held over two days.
