He emphasised that peace and development were common interests of all countries in the region. He believed that the Asia-Pacific region needs a comprehensive security structure based on the fundamental principles of international law.
Regarding Vietnam’s policies towards the region, State President Sang said Vietnam consistently followed a multilateral policy.
