Russian travel agencies are looking for new destinations to attract Russian tourists to other parts of the country.
"To attract more Russian tourists, we offer tours that tourists can visit Hoi An, Hue, Ha Long and some old battlefields. Russian tourists are interested in the Cu Chi Tunnels or tours along the Mekong River", said Aleksey Markov from Biblio Globus Travel Agency, Russia.
The Russian travel agencies and Vietnam Tourism Association have worked together on press familiarisation tours to attract more Russian tourists to Vietnam. Besides offering tours to visit Vietnamese islands, Russian travel agencies are investigating other cultural attractions in north and central Vietnam.
