Speaking at the meeting, State President Trương Tấn Sang spoke highly about the signing of a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The Vietnamese leader also proposed that the two sides focus on reviewing specific issues and resolving existing difficulties to bolster bilateral co-operation and develop key projects between the two countries. Shuvalov shared his hope that Vietnam signing free trade agreement with the EEU would contribute to boosting economic and trade collaboration between Vietnam and Russia./.
